This is my main snare. It's not the Sensitone II, but I really like it. It's got a great crack that cuts. I use it on most of the vid clips of me, and my Shed Some Light video.

I'm seriously thinking about getting one of these bad boys.
Steve, why the brass 14 x 5.5? Did you try the 14 x 6.5 or any of the steel models (14"x6.5"; 14"x5.5"; 13"x5.5"; 12"x5" Steel)?
Currently, I have a steel DW 14 x 5.5

Honestly when I was shopping I didnt have a specific brand in mind. I just wanted a metal of some kind. After trying several snares over a couple of days that one sounded the best to me. I don't remember what else I tried but this was at Guitar Center Hollywood so I'm sure there was no shortage.
